New Spring Menu and Happy Hour!


Spring has sprung! To welcome the sunshine we’ve spruced up our menu with fresh dishes and seasonal ingredients. Our new happy hour menu offers great dishes to pair with your draft, wine, or craft cocktail. Join us for Northwest fare and delicious beverages in the heart of Ballard—our patio is open on sunny days! Check out Shingletown’s new spring menu items and happy hour:

Small Plates

  • Shaved Fennel & Asparagus [GF/VEG/V] – rice wine vinegar, riesling, garlic, coriander, toasted sesame seeds, smoked nuts
  • Snack Board [VEG] – herbed nuts, crostini, house marinated olives, pickled seasonal vegetables, selection of meats and cheeses, seasonal fruit compote, pickled mustard seeds
  • Duo of Calamari [GF] – marinated and seasoned fried calamari with a sautéed calamari and olive salad 
  • Turmeric & Thyme-braised Cauliflower [GF/VEG/V] – brown butter, chopped herb nuts, riesling-plumped golden raisins, herb gremolata
  • Mushroom Pastry Towers [VEG] – seasonal mushrooms sautéed with brandy and garlic, fromage blanc, pickled onions
  • PBLT Sliders – braised and smoked pork belly, roma tomato, spring greens, garlic aioli
  • Butter Bistro Sliders – house ground all natural no hormone beef blend, house cheese, spring mix, garlic confit, smoked tomato aioli on brioche

  • Poached Pear – riesling poached bosc pear, smoked nuts, fromage blanc, shaved Jalapeno, salted english cucumber, herbed crouton dust, apple cider vinaigrette

Sandwiches

  • Butter Bistro Burger – house ground all-natural no hormone blend patty stuffed with herb butter, fresh field greens, house pickles, house cheese, shaved red onion, beefsteak tomato, garlic confit and smoked tomato aioli on brioche. May substitute a veggie patty – wheatberry, farro, fava bean, seasonal mushroom, roasted fennel, asparagus, onion, seasonings
  • Cracked Szechuan Peppercorn Fried Chicken – herb and maple brined chicken thigh fried in our house breading mixture with toasted zechuan peppercorns, chopped romaine, and a slaw of jalapeno, mama lil’s, fuji apple, fennel in a sprite slaw sauce on brioche
  • Smoked Pork Belly BLT – savory spice rubbed braised and smoked pork belly, shaved romaine, beefsteak tomato, garlic aioli on brioche

  • Baked NW Potato – house crème fraiche, spring onion, pork belly, herbed cheese curds

  • Riesling-poached Pear and White Chocolate Bread Pudding – hell or high watermelon crème anglaise
